Quite possibly the only graduate of the Jazz Department at the Academy of Music in Katowice—and a would-be mathematician—who arrives at band rehearsals straight from the climbing gym, and manages his calendar around the climbing seasons in the Alps and Yosemite.

As a musician, he's currently active with Dziwna Wiosna, Warszawskie Combo Taneczne, Młynarski Plays Młynarski, and Gaba Kulka. His past collaborations include Maria Peszek, Marcin Masecki, Muzykoterapia, Zbigniew Namysłowski, and—legend has it—even Władysław Jagiełło.
