Magdalena Sznigir

Magdalena Sznigir is an ultrarunner and content creator who combines sport with environmental responsibility. She has completed some of the most challenging races in Poland: Kret Hardcore 377 km and DFBG 240 km, where results depend not only on performance but also on strategy, resilience, and cooperation.

In her work, she promotes the idea of sustainable running — a conscious approach to training, racing, and gear, with respect for the natural environment we move through. She believes that trail running is not just a sport but a relationship with a place, and that each of us influences how that relationship looks.

Every day, she shares her experience, inspiring others — especially women — to take on challenges and discover their strength through movement.

Talk: “Sustainable running: how to run more while leaving less trace” — Magdalena Sznigir

Running in nature offers a sense of freedom, but it also comes with responsibility. How can we train and race more consciously? How can we make choices that are better for the environment without giving up our passion?

During the talk, Magdalena will discuss the practical side of sustainable running: from gear and travel choices, to race selection, to everyday habits of runners. Drawing on her ultramarathon experience, she will show that even small decisions can have a real impact on the environment.

Workshop: “Trail Running Basics”

An introduction to the world of running that begins where the asphalt ends. Under Magda’s guidance and drawing from her experience, participants will learn how to start their trail running journey. Thanks to the support of Nnormal and CragSport, you will also test shoes created by true enthusiasts of this discipline.
