Justyna Traczyk

Founder of MovementForChange, she is an experienced yoga teacher, somatic facilitator, and educator in trauma-informed practices. Her work bridges self-care and collective care, offering movement and meditative experiences that are deeply transformative—embodied tools for resilience, reconnection, and restoration. She emphasizes the equal importance of purposeful action and intentional rest.

As the founder of MERU Shala, she curates retreats and workshops designed to nurture a sense of safety, agency, and conscious responsibility. Over the years, she has taught in more than a dozen countries—from India to the West Coast of the U.S.—and has shared her practice with oncology patients, refugee communities, and incarcerated women.

She consciously shapes her life to make space for climbing—her other great passion. From the crags of the Tatras to the granite walls of the Alps and Yosemite, she’s drawn to cracks and long, technical routes. Time spent on rock, sleeping in a tent or in the back of a car at a high pass—simply being in motion and in nature—is where everything within her comes into alignment.
